With aluminium casing and 2gb ram seems like a good deal..
And is that display made by SHARP(Japanese screen maker)?

    Beware folks.
You can only install apps in 1GB out of 16GB flash storage.

This is strange and pathetic at a time when some of very good games in app store itself take 1GB storage.

I have never seen any company put this kind of restriction on android phones. Why Micromax is doing this?

      lol… lame comment…

micromax provides option to install all the apps in external memory… m currently using canvas HD with 16 GB apps with heavy games installed like fifa 14, asphalt 8, mc4, nova 4…
      no problms with memory…
i have also used canvas 2… it was having the same option…

beware of such pot heads 😀
get some brain and correct info first..

Its sad that people are so dumb.

I never said that Canvas HD or Canvas 2 did not allow installing apps in MicroSD or in the internal memory.

I am talking about the phone in this article (Canvas Turbo).

This is the official site for this phone specs. Under the storage option they clearly mentioned 2 things.

        1. This phone does not have expandable memory (no Micro SD).
        2. This phone 16GB internal memory but you can only install apps in 1GB(0.98GB to be precise) out of 16GB.

You need to get the facts right before calling out other people.
This site did not mention that fact but BGR.in clearly mentioned in their article.

Ohhh mere bhai …. There is not slot for external memory !!!!! AB KYA GHADI DETERGENT USE KARE PHONE KO DHONE

      (October 25, 2013 - 1:28 am)

oops… actually the blog post writer has not mentioned that it does not external card slot…

      just read it in gsmarena..

and yeah as in canvas 4 16 gb is internal and 10 gb is availble to user… and 1 gb is phone memory

and u can install the apps in phone memory and internal memory

and in canvas turbo 12.5 space is user available… so same is in the case with canvas turbo 😛
