Telecom operator Boost Mobile has announced the launch of Boost MAX smartphone on its network in the United States today. ZTE-built Boost MAX is now available on the telco’s webstore and select retailers for $299.99 without contract.
Packing a 5.7-inch HD IPS display, the Boost MAX comes with 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of on-board storage, and 3200 mAh battery. The phone runs on outdated Android 4.1 and there is no word about any software update.
In addition, the smartphone includes 8MP rear camera, 1MP front camera, dual-mode 3G/ 4G LTE support and the usual set of connectivity options.
“Boost MAX is the first prepaid U.S. smartphone with the latest Dolby Digital Plus audio technology, providing a surround sound mobile experience through the built-in speakers and headphones, enhancing audio clarity and dialogue, and amplifying volume for entertainment on the go” the telecom operator noted in a press release.
