LG G Flex to be priced at INR 66,900 in India, available next week

When LG India LG G Flex

According to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom, LG G Flex has been priced at INR 69,990 (MRP) and will sell for a best buy price for INR 66,900. The first stocks of the phone are supposed to arrive in the next couple of days, so we can expect availability next week.

This is in line with LG’s earlier announced availability of February 2014. Given the high-pricing, we don’t see many consumers opting for the phone, it will remain a niche device and will only attract select few, who want to be the first consumers to get their hands on a smartphone with curved display.

To remind you, LG G Flex runs on Android 4.2.2 and comes with 6.0-inch HD Plastic-OLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 3500 mAh battery. In addition, the phone packs 32GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, 13MP rear camera and 2.1MP front camera.

They should have priced it at 99K. In India one who wants to buy a phone at 67K can easily buy a phone for 99K. At-least in that way they will help themselves by increasing the profit margin.

Seriously! These days a rich consumer would think, “should buy a car, a gold neckless or a mobile” … in the same thought.
