As promised, Acer has unveiled two new Android smartphones in its Liquid series today. Dubbed as Acer Liquid E3 and Liquid Z4, the smartphones will be released in Europe in April 2014.
Talking about Acer Liquid E3 first, the smartphone features a 4.7-inch HD IPS display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.2.2 and 1GB of RAM. The phone also packs 4GB of internal storage, Wi-Fi and microSD card slot.
On the imaging front, Acer has included a 13MP rear camera with ultra-fast focus and 2MP front shooter on the Liquid E3. It will be sold for 199 euros and will compete with the likes of Moto G.
According to Acer, the company plans to issue Android 4.4 KitKat update for E3 later this year.
Coming to Acer Liquid Z4, it is an entry-level smartphone and features a 4-inch display, dual-core processor and 5MP rear camera. It runs on Android 4.2.2 and packs 4GB of internal storage, and microSD card slot.
The smartphone has been priced at just 99 euros and will be available in White and Black colour options.
Acer has included a nifty AcerRAPID key on the back of both the smartphone, which can be used to unlock and/or wake-up the screen, launch the camera, take a picture, launch apps from home screen and pick up phone calls.
