LG’s G Pro 2 smartphone will include several improvements on the camera front, revealed the company in a blog post today.
LG announced that G Pro 2 smartphone will come with better image-stabilisation technology, ultra-HD video recording support (3,840 x 2,160), slow motion video capture, burst shot with 20 images support and more. As per the blog post, the phone will feature a 13MP rear camera and 2.1MP front camera.
The company has stated that it has developed OIS (Optical image stabilisation) Plus technology, which includes several new tweaks on the software front to compensate for shakes or other movement during the image capture. The new tech also helps in better and shake-free images in low-light environments.
In addition, LG is improving the camera software, which it hopes will be liked by the consumers.
Set to be announced at Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona, LG G Pro 2 is a successor of LG Optimus G Pro smartphone. A competitor to Samsung’s Note-series of devices, G Pro devices come with large-displays. According to rumours, LG G Pro 2 will include a 6-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 800 processor and LTE-A connectivity.
To remind you, LG Optimus G Pro was quite popular among South Korea consumers and 1 million units of the phone were sold within four months of its going on sale in the country.
