LG teases G2 Mini, to be announced on Feb 24 at MWC

LG G2 Mini is real and it is coming very soon. The Korea manufacturer today started teasing the smartphone on its social media channel and stated that it will be announced on February 24 at MWC 2014 in Barcelona.

LG G2 Mini is the first Mini smartphone from the company, which joins the likes of Samsung, HTC and ZTE, which have previously released Mini variants of their flagship models.

LG has also shared an image showing the rear of G2 Mini, which reveals that the phone will come with power button and volume rocker on the back just like LG G2. No other details have been shared officially, however the leaks suggest that the phone will come with qHD display, Snapdragon 400 processor and Android 4.4.

It will also reportedly come with 2GB of RAM and 8MP rear camera.

Given these specifications, what are your thoughts on G2 Mini, do you think it will also be a failure like HTC One Mini and Galaxy S4 Mini? Let us know in comments.

PS: LG will also unveil LG G Pro 2 on Feb 24 along with G2 Mini, which will come with 6-inch display, 3GB of RAM, Snapdragon 800 processor and 13MP rear camera with OIS Plus.

Htc one mini failed because of poor pricing strategy. I was willing to buy one if it came at 25-26 k. But they launched it at an exorbitant price and I finally bought some other phone only to find later that now its available at 26k. They must have lost so many potential customers like me who likes to have a phone with small footprints.
Lets see how they price the g2 mini.
