Samsung posts MWC teaser, reveals “The Next Galaxy” is coming

If you needed a confirmation about the announcement of Galaxy S5 at the February 24 Samsung event next week, it is here. Samsung has posted its first MWC video teaser, which reveals that it is indeed going to unveil the Galaxy S5 smartphone.

The company is highlighting the same things like Speed, Camera and Fitness etc., which it had shown in the Unpacked 5 invite. A lot of focus seems to be on the camera of the smartphone, which is rumoured to be a 16MP sensor and will support 4K video recording at 30FPS and 1080p video recording at 60FPS.

Is this Galaxy S5?

In related news, we have a possible Galaxy S5 sighting via Spigen case listing on Amazon, which also adds credibility to the previous reports about Standard and Prime versions. As you can see the listing, it talks about case’s compatibility with both Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S5 Prime.

Although, we can’t see much of S5 in these photos because of the case but it still shows some details. As there is no way to verify the authenticity of these images, take them with a pinch of salt. Anyways, we will know everything soon enough.

A quick recap of the rumoured Galaxy S5 specs:

S5: 5.25-inch Super AMOLED FHD display, Snapdragon 800 or Exynos Infinity, 3GB of RAM, 16MP rear camera, front camera, Android 4.4

S5 Prime: 5.25-inch QHD display (2560x1440p), Snapdragon 805 or Exynos Infinity, 3GB of RAM, 16MP rear camera, front camera, Android 4.4
