Sony begins Android 4.3 roll-out for Xperia SP

Sony has started rolling out Android 4.3 update for Xperia SP. The company’s official PR Twitter account just confirmed about the update release.

Like all updates, it will be rolled-out region-wise and should reach your phone in the coming weeks. Australian Xperia SP users seems to be the first ones getting update, so if you live down under, go look for the update via PC Companion or Bridge for Mac softwares.

The detailed change-log is not available but according to Sony, the update includes latest Sony app versions, updated media apps, Xperia Themes and more. The update will also come with Android 4.3 specific features like location detection though Wi-Fi, OpenGL ES 3.0 support, and enhanced photo daydream.

If you have updated your phone, do let us know about the experience in comments.
