After Karbonn, now Huawei is being said to be working on a dual-boot Android/ Windows Phone smartphone, which will be released in Q2 of this year. According to a report in Trusted Reviews, a Huawei executive revealed that adding Android to Windows Phone smartphones will make them more enticing for the consumers to buy.
“If it is Windows only, maybe people will not find it as easy a decision to buy the phone. If they have the Android and Windows together, you can change it as you wish and it is much easier for people to choose Windows Phone. We think the dual OS can be a new choice for the consumer. It will be on sale in the US in Q2,” Shao Yang, Huawei’s Chief Marketing Officer told Trusted Reviews.
There are no details available this smartphones right now but given the fact that it is going to be announced in Q2, we should begin seeing rumours or leaks in the coming weeks.
