Update: Flipkart has announced the launch of Moto X in India, full story here.

Earlier: Flipkart is all set to announce the release of Moto X Android smartphone in the Indian market as the retailer has already started receiving stocks for the smartphone. The first Moto X stocks reached India over the weekend carrying around 5,000 units of the phone.

We are expecting the e-retailer to start taking orders as early as tomorrow i.e. March 19. There is still no word on the final pricing but we are hearing it to be around INR 23,000.

In related news, Flipkart has also announced all of the launch day offers for Moto X, which include INR 1000 cashback with purchases on EMI, 70 percent discount on Moto X cases and 100 percent cashback for ten lucky customers.

To remind you, Motorola Moto X comes with 4.7-inch AMOLED 720p HD display, 1.7GHz dual-core processor based X8 computing platform, 2GB of RAM, 10MP rear camera and Android 4.4.2. Motorola will be offering Moto X in five colour options and two wood back versions in the country.

This is the second exclusive Motorola smartphone launch by Flipkart in the country after Moto G, which received great feedback from the consumers. According to our estimates, Flipkart imported over 140,00 units of Moto G within a month of the launch.

How do you know that ‘X’ pieces have arrived? Where do you copy all these information from? Do you have sources inside each and every company? I cannot take this anymore.

Really? Then a source must be cited. And are you his representative? I guess not.

Stop ranting about it being a dual core and costs 23k…
It actually is dual core for normal functions which is more than sufficient and it has seperate cores for its various sensors which helps in awesome implementation of its unique features and in gpu front it has adreno 320 quad core

for why motorola has launched this product at this price: see this video review

yes.. i have a reason let me tell you..after some time every phone work slowly and then for batter performance 4 cores are better then 2 cores.. so go for quad core not for dual core…

of course it has Super AMOLED screen , Touchless Control , Camera opens with Gesture , Better camera but what if the phone is unable to give you good output in term of performance. also non removable battery, limited storage and very few services center also does mater.

PS: I am not a sales guy of any mobile brand.

I am only asking not to underestimate the phone just because it is dual-core. If you are just seeing specs on paper, then also it beats MotoG in almost all benchmarks! So yes in my opinion, 10K more is worth! If MotoG and MotoX launched at same time I would buy MotoX
