Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has announced its new flagship smartphone Find 7 along with high-end offering Find 7a at a press event today in Beijing.
Featuring 5.5-inch 2560x1440p QHD display from JDI, the new Oppo Find 7 features 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974AC processor, Android 4.3 based Color OS 2.0, and 3GB of RAM. The phone also packs 13MP rear camera with software enhancements making it capable of shooting 50MP images, and 5MP front camera.
In addition, Find 7 includes 32GB of on-board storage, microSD card slot, 3000 mAh battery, FDD-LTE and TDD-LTE support.
Coming to Oppo Find 7a, which is same as Find 7 in design but comes with lower-res 5.5-inch 1080p display, 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974AB processor, 2GB of RAM and Android 4.3-based Color OS 2.0. The phone also comes with 16GB of internal storage, 2800 mAh battery, microSD card slot, 13MP rear camera and the usual set of connectivity options.
Pricing and availability
Oppo Find 7a will the first phone out of two to go on sale tomorrow i.e. March 20 in China. It has been priced at 2998 Chinese Yuan. There is no word on the availability of Oppo Find 7, which will be priced at 3498 Chinese Yuan.
