Amazon, Samsung partner to launch Kindle for Samsung

Amazon Kindle Samsung has announced that it is partnered with Amazon to launch Kindle for Samsung, a custom e-book service that will be exclusively available to Samsung devices. Available immediately in 90 countries via Samsung Apps, the Kindle for Samsung will work on devices like Galaxy S5, which are powered by Android 4.0 and above.

To make it enticing for the consumers to use the service, the companies are providing Samsung Book Deals to the users of Kindle for Samsung. As a part of Samsung Book Deals, 12 free eBooks will be offered to users of the service, who will be able to choose one title each month from a selection of 4 e-Books.

“We’re delighted to be able to deepen our long-standing relationship with Amazon and offer Kindle for Samsung as the perfect app for reading on a smart device. With this service we demonstrate our commitment to creating and broadening key content partnerships that deliver rich and personalised experiences for our customers,” said Lee Epting, Vice President, Samsung’s Media Solution Center Europe.

Like any other Kindle app, Kindle for Samsung offers millions of e-Books, newspapers, and magazines in addition to features like Whispersync, Time to Read, and more.
