We might finally see a new design from Samsung with Galaxy Note 4. The company’s last few flagship models have all revolved around similar design principles with little variation but Samsung wants to change that with Note 4, which will come with a new form factor, revealed Samsung’s SVP of Product Strategy Yoon Han-kil in an interview with Reuters.
Yoon did not elaborate on the new form factor but it is high time for Samsung to offer a new design to its consumers.
Samsung SVP also stated Samsung will be releasing an Android Wear powered smartwatch later this year, confirming what was already expected given the name of Samsung in the list of Android Wear partners. Yoon did not share any details about this smartwatch.
First Tizen phone coming in Q2-end
In related news, Yoon Han-kil has noted that Samsung will be unveiling its first Tizen powered smartphone in the end of second quarter of this year. It will be a high-end smartphone and will soon be joined by a mid-range device.
After the launch plan debacle with Docomo and Orange, Samsung has changed its strategy and seems to be going alone and will release the Tizen phone in select few markets, where it expects them to sell well.
