Indian smartphone vendor Intex has unveiled its first Android 4.4 smartphones in the country today. Part of the company’s Aqua line-up, the phones are dubbed as i14 and N15 and belong to entry-level segment.
“We at Intex are proud to incorporate Android KitKat OS in our Aqua portfolio which will enable our users to experience a seamless user interface and smooth functioning of apps. The devices are laden with all the latest features which a user expects from a smartphone including a IPS display screen to provide users an enjoyable experience while watching their favourite content, all this at a very affordable rate,” said Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Business Head- Mobiles, Intex.
As per a press release issued by the company, Intex Aqua i14 features a 5-inch FWVGA display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, dual-SIM support and 1850 mAh battery. The phone also packs 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and microSD card slot.
The phone has been priced at INR 7,090 and will be available in Black and White colour options.
Coming to Intex Aqua N15, the phone packs a 4-inch FWVGA display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, and dual-SIM support. There is no confirmation on the battery present in N15, rest of the specifications of the phone are same as Intex Aqua i14. The phone will be sold for INR 6,090 in Black, White and Blue colour options.
