Maxx Mobile introduces Android 4.4 smartphone for INR 4020

Maxx MSD7 Smarty AXD211Joining the recent influx of affordable but decent Android smartphones, Maxx Mobile has announced the launch of MSD7 Smarty AXD21 smartphone in the Indian market today. It is the company’s first Android 4.4-powered phone and will retail for just INR 4,020 in the country.

According to Maxx, for the given price-tag, the consumers will be getting a 4-inch WVGA display, 1GHz dual-core MediaTek processor, 512MB of RAM, 3.2MP rear camera and 0.3MP front camera. The phone also packs 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and 1450 mAh battery.

In addition, the Maxx MSD7 Smarty AXD21 will come with 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Glonass and FM Radio. The dual-SIM support, 3.5mm audio jack and microUSB 2.0 ports are also available on the phone. In terms of the pre-loaded applications, Maxx has included MAXX World, MAXX life Box, MAXX Care, Getit, OLX, Flipkart, Hungama, Opera Mini, Wechat, and several Gameloft games on the phone.

The phone is being released in Black, White, Red and Yellow colour options and can be grabbed from e-retailer Snapdeal.com, which is exclusively carrying the smartphone.

The specifications are quite decent and the phone comes with all the necessary components of decent smartphone experience, however a lot will still depend on the real-life performance.
