Sony to introduce a smartphone targeted to selfie-lovers on July 8


Sony is reportedly getting ready to announce a new Xperia smartphone on July 8, which will be targeted to the selfie-loving generation.

The company on Monday started teasing the phone on its social media channels, which as per the Chinese publication ePrice, will sport a front camera with LED flash and professional-grade self-timer function.

The publication has also shared an alleged image of the phone, which you can check out later in the post.

Set to be dubbed as Sony Xperia C3, the phone will be priced below 2,000 yuan ($322) and be released in a number of colour options. Other details are unclear at this point but we will just have for another 24 hours to get all the official details.

    I don’t now if auto focus front shooter will be enough or an LED flash is also needed. I will not be specifically looking for it but if I’m getting it as a part of good package I’ll accept it for sure.

    I know how many selfies I have tried in last few days and couldn’t get a good one yet (with a FF front shooter).
