If a teaser post on the official Xiaomi India Facebook page is any indication, the Chinese smartphone maker is getting ready to officially launch its devices in the country on July 11.
“A big THANK YOU to all Mi Fans who showed your support and joined Mi at the start of our incredible journey. We have something special for YOU, do come back on 11 July 2014 for the announcement post,” the company wrote on the Facebook page.
A lot has been happening on the Xiaomi India front in the last few weeks, so it seems quite plausible that the company will be finally ready to unveil its products next week.
There is no word on which products the company will be releasing first in India but it is very likely that we will initially see the launch of its flagship Mi3 and budget Redmi 1s smartphones, followed by Redmi Note and Mi Pad.
As per a recent report, Xiaomi is planning to partner e-retailer Flipkart is sell its products in the country.
To remind you, Xiaomi has already made the Indian website live at mi.com/in and has roped Manu Kumar Jain as the General Manager for the India operations. We are actively tracking the story and will let you folks know if anything new pops up.
