    WOW.
Everyone surprised with Rs15K price tag. Now they cut 1K more.

I think their main aim is not just the likes of Samsung, HTC, LG or Sony. They are going against Moto G/E which are selling in huge numbers.

Its great time for consumers of smartphones in India. Funny thing is Xiaomi managed to outdo Moto E/G in a stupendous way. They are essentially selling a phone with Moto G specs for Moto E price and phone with nexus 5 specs for Moto G price.

    Mi3 vs Moto G
    Full HD 720 p display (Winner – Mi3),
SD 800 SD 400 (Winner – Mi3. SD 800 much faster and also they are using higher clocked version of SD 800 2.3Ghz),
    2 GB RAM 1 GB RAM (Winner – Mi3),
16 GB memory 16GB memory (Tie),
13 MP camera 5 MP camera (Winner – Mi3 on paper but not sure),
3050 mAh battery 2070 battery (Winner – Mi3. In my opinion this is very important),
Design (Winner – Mi3. This is subjective though),
Software (Winner – Moto G. Its almost stock UI but few people may prefer MiUI. For the most people its not a big deal I guess otherwise no one would have bought those fugly galaxy phones with touchwiz UI).
