XOLO has announced the launch of a new Android smartphone in the Indian market. Part of the company’s Play-series, the smartphone is dubbed as 8X-1100 and is being targeted to the gaming enthusiasts. In addition, two other smartphones Q700s Plus and Q1000s Plus have been spotted on the company website, which are expected to be released in the country soon.
Talking about the XOLO Play 8X-1100 first, the phone features Android 4.4, 5-inch full HD display, 2GB of RAM, and 1.7GHz octa-core processor (MediaTek likely). The smartphone also comes with 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 13MP rear camera, and 5MP front shooter.
The phone will be available in White colour option and has been priced at INR 14,999.
Coming to XOLO Q700s Plus and Q1000s Plus, both phones are currently listed on the company website with their respective price-tags but there is no word on the availability information, which is likely to be revealed in the coming week.
On the specifications front, the Q1000s Plus bears a lot of similarities to Play 8X-1100 like 5-inch FHD display, octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera and 5MP front shooter but runs on Android 4.2 and includes 32GB of internal storage with no microSD card slot and 3000 mAh battery. The phone will retail for INR 13,999 in the country.
Q700s Plus, on the other hand, runs on KitKat and packs a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, quad-core 1.3GHz MediaTek processor, 8MP rear camera, VGA front camera and dual-SIM support. The phone also features 1800 mAH battery, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and the usual set of connectivity options. It will be released for INR 8,499 in the country.
