Karbonn launches Sparkle V Android One phone for INR 6,399

Karbonn Sparkle VIndian smartphone vendor Karbonn on Monday joined Google, Micromax and Spice to announce the launch of its first Android One smartphone. The new Karbonn Sparkle V has been priced at INR 6,399 and is now on sale at e-retailer Snapdeal.com.

Like other Android One smartphone, the Karbonn Sparkle V also comes with entry-level specifications. The phone features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, 1GB of RAM, 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera.

The phone runs on Android 4.4.4 and packs dual-SIM support, 3G, Wi-Fi and the usual connectivity options. Karbonn has noted that Sparkle V will also be available in brick and mortar stores by Diwali, so the Snapdeal exclusivity is valid for a limited time only. More on today’s Android One announcements in related links below.
