Fresh set of details about the rumoured Motorola-made Nexus smartphone as well as the upcoming Droid-series smartphone have appeared online.

Talking about the Nexus 6 aka Motorola Shamu (codename) first, according to Android Police, the phone is going to pack a 5.9-inch QHD display, same as the recent reports from other sources, and the phone will look similar to the new Moto X. It will also sport a metal frame like the Motorola flagship.

Among other details, the phone is said to be coming with a 3200 mAh battery, front-facing speakers, Android L, 13MP rear camera with OIS & dual-LED flash as well as 2MP front shooter.

There is no word on whether there will be a smaller Nexus smartphone as well this year. I guess, we will just have to wait until the Google announcement to get a clearer picture, however at this point only a 5.9-inch Nexus smartphone seems likely.

Coming to the Droid Turbo, which is scheduled to be released on Verizon Wireless in the United States. The phone has been sighted in the GFXBench database, which has in turn revealed the key specifications of the device.

As per GFXBench listing, the Droid Turbo will pack a 5.2-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 19/20MP rear camera and 2MP front shooter. The Droid Turbo will also include NFC support, Wi-Fi, Android 4.4.4, Bluetooth and GPS. Droid Turbo is turning out to be a super-phone from Motorola’s stable.

There is no word on the release date of the Droid Turbo but we hope to see it going on sale next month.Motorola Droid Turbo at GFXBench
