  1. 2.27gb internal user storage for apps will be grossly inadequate because of the way Android apps get installed on internal/external storage. This would be even more of a problem when Android L arrives as app sizes are going to increase requiring more space per app.

  2. Soc most likely is going to be Mediatek 6582 and Google is going to handle the OS update. that leaves a big question mark hanging. who is responsible for releasing the kernel source. if spice then nada. they won’t bother. if Google then by GPLv2 they must but then mediatek is not a dev friendly chipset vendor.

looking at the price this is a solid offering. wonder if Google will allow the manufacturers to tweak the spec and price or if this is a “call your price” kind of platform.

    1. google discussed with mediatec, specially for some new type of chip,it is genereally different from chis offered by media tec, and is of more quality(this is used in android one phones) … which means everything is standarized for android one phones and this project

  3. Moto E looks more attractive with Corning Gorrilla Glass 3, better resolution of about 250 ppi, albeit on 4.3 inch screen, better battery with 1980mAh.
What is all this hype about Android One? I Hope the other ‘Android One’ devices turn out better in terms of specification.
