whats wrong with firefox? don’t they have any minimum h/w requirement list?
firefox is support to bring smartphone to users who are stuck with feature phone due to price but also being easy to use. with 128MB ram and a single core proccy, it’ll lag and hang. people will curse its name and swear never to touch firefox again because their last phone may be slow but never lagged or crashed. sure at 2000 bucks it is not possible to have quadcore stuff but 256MB ram & a dualcore proccy (Mediatek 6571 should be supported) should be enough for a usable experience. firefox is a modern day OS and what manufacturers are doing is slapping it into the same mobile that runs asha OS. asha despite numerous revision is a dumb OS just like S40. And it too lags due to 64-128MB ram. this will leave a really bad impression on users who wanted to switch phone.
this is the same thing that happened with Micromax A60 aka the first ever affordable android mobile launched here. left a really bad impression that android is half baked OS and nokia’s S60 is still the kind due to the poor quality of user experience thanks to crappy h/w.
