XOLO One smartphone spotted on company website, price revealed

XOLO OneXOLO is all set to release a new budget Android smartphone in the form of XOLO One. The new smartphone has been listed on the company website and is expected to go on sale in the next few days. It will retail for INR 6,599, revealed the XOLO website.

XOLO One features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854x480p) IPS display, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor, 1GB of RAM and 1700 mAh battery. The phone also packs 5MP rear camera, VGA front camera, Android 4.4.2, 3G and dual-SIM support.  In addition, XOLO has included 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS on the phone.

On the design front, the company has included leather finish on the back of the XOLO One and will be offering the phone in White, Brown, Black and Red colour options. XOLO notes that One will be upgradable to Android 5.0 but has not given any timeframe.

Although the phone carries “One” in its name and packs the specifications similar to Android One smartphones, it doesn’t seem to be an Android One phone. XOLO is an Android One partner but it will take a few months to release its first Android One smartphone.

Thanks Sumesh Sreenivas for the tip
