Gmail 5.0 for Android leaked, includes support for Exchange & POP/ IMAP accounts

Gmail v5 for AndroidThe upcoming version 5.0 for Gmail for Android has been leaked online. Android Police has got hold of the final Gmail 5.0 for Android APK, which has revealed some very interesting details.

Looks like the recent rumours about the support for third-party email accounts in Gmail app for Android were true and v5.0 will allow the users to add their Exchange email accounts as well as POP/ IMAP accounts, making Gmail a single app for all your email needs.

The version 5.0 won’t just adding third-party account support, but also bring material design changes and new thread view. There is no word on the official release of the new version, but it is plausible that we could see the roll-out later today alongside Android 5.0 for Nexus devices.Gmail v5 for Android

Grabbed an apk from androidpolice and using it for 2 days. Excellent app, with exchange integration. Already added my office mail 😀
