Google has announced that it has launched its Google Play app store in Cuba. The Android users in the country will now be able to download free apps and games from the Play Store on their smartphones.
No access to paid apps or games is currently available because of the United States’ long-standing export embargo on Cuba.
The app developers can now head over to Google Play developer console to make or stop their apps being available in Cuba.
In addition, to Play Store, Google has also opened the access to Analytics in the country, however similar to Google Play, only free Analytics accounts are currently supported in Cuba. To remind you, Google had launched its Chrome web browser in the country in August this year.
