Asus Zenfone 5 Lite A502CGAsus has quietly launched the Zenfone 5 Lite A502CG smartphone in the Indian market. The phone is now on sale at Flipkart, which the exclusive online retailer for all Zenfone smartphones in the country. This stripped-down version of Zenfone 5 A501CG carries a price-tag of INR 8,999 and can be grabbed in Black colour option. There is no word on whether Asus plans to launch other colour variants of the phone in the country.

Originally introduced in Philippines in mid-November, the Asus Zenfone 5 Lite A502CG features a 5-inch qHD IPS display, dual-SIM support, 2500 mAh battery and Android 4.4 with ZenUI. The phone is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor and comes with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and microSD card slot.

On the imaging front, Asus has included an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 0.3MP front shooter on the A502CG. At this price-tag, the phone doesn’t seem all that enticing compared to the original Zenfone 5, which costs just INR 1000 more and gets the consumers a better resolution display, better front camera, more RAM, and slightly powerful processor, however there is just 2110 mAh battery in the phone.
