HTC Desire 620 to reach UK early next year

HTC Desire 620HTC has announced that its recently unveiled Desire 620 smartphone will be released in the UK early next year. The company has not shared the final pricing or an exact availability date, both of which will be revealed closer to launch.

The smartphone features a 5-inch 720p HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor, 8MP rear camera and 5MP front shooter. The phone also packs 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, Android 4.4 and Sense 6 UI.

HTC has also included dual-SIM and 4G LTE support on the phone, however it is unclear if the UK version will get these features.

According to HTC, Desire 620 will be released in white with blue accents, grey with orange accents and matte grey with light grey accents colour options.

HTC One (M8) and One on schedule for Android 5.0 update in 90 days

After rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Google Play editions of One (M8) and One, HTC has reiterated that it is on schedule for the Lollipop update roll-out for the Sense versions within 90 days of Android 5.0 code-release, as it had promised earlier.
