Indian smartphone vendor Intex has announced the launch of its new Aqua Power smartphone. As the name suggests, the phone is being targeted to the consumers, who want long battery life in their smartphones. To cater to these consumers, Intex has included a mammoth 4000 mAh battery in the phone.
In addition to the huge battery, Intex Aqua Power comes with 5-inch FWVGA display, 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592M processor, and 1GB of RAM. The phone also features 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, dual-SIM support, 8MP rear camera and 2MP front shooter.
The Aqua Power runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and will be getting Lollipop update around April next year. According to Intex, the smartphone support USB-OTG function and can act as a power bank for other smartphones. The company has also included pedometer in the phone, so you can keep a track of number of steps taken, calories burnt and more.

The Intex Aqua Power is now on sale at major retail stores in the country and can be purchased in White, Black, Blue and Grey colour options. The company has stated that the buyers of the Aqua Power will be eligible for one free screen replacement (in case of broken screen) for the period of warranty, which is one year.
