As we get closer to the launch of HTC’s next flagship smartphone, leaks and rumours regarding the phone have increased many folds. While most of the leaks circulating in the wild are either fake or have little credibility, a new set of images have appeared online, which could indeed turn out to be our first decent look at the One (M8) successor.
Shared by Phandroid, these images give us clearest look till date at the phone, which seem to have ditched the Duo-camera setup, as suggested by some rumours. HTC is still following the same design, which was introduced with the original HTC One in 2013, with odd tweaks here and there.
In related news, some reports have appeared online in the recent few days that HTC is also working on a Plus version of the phone with 5.5-inch QHD display, but we are yet to see any credible evidence. However, it is completely plausible that HTC brings a One Max-like cousin of its next flagship, which will take on the Apple iPhone 6 Plus, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and other high-end phablets.
To remind you, the HTC press event for the next flagship announcement is scheduled for March 1 and as always, we will bring you all the details from the event.
