Panasonic launches rugged Toughpad FZ-B2 tablet in India for businesses

Toughpad FZ-B2Panasonic, which is known for its rugged mobile internet devices, has released a new Toughpad in the Indian market. The company is releasing the 7-inch Toughpad FZ-B2 in the country, which will be sold for INR 75,000 to the businesses.

“The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-B2 is a rugged 7-inch tablet powered by Android for field-based workforces. With durability, power and a range of configurability options — at a price within reach of any business — the Toughpad FZ-B2 is an ideal tool for field service professionals,” notes Panasonic in the product description.

The tablet runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and is powered by quad-core Intel Celeron processor. It also includes enterprise-grade features including a quick-charging, user-replaceable full-shift battery, as well as software encryption for security and management. Other features of the Toughpad include a 5-foot drop and all-weather IP65 dust and water resistant design, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS ad USB 3.0 port. On the imaging front, there is a 5MP rear camera as well as an HD front shooter in the tablet.

There is no word on the availability details, but the businesses can contact Panasonic for more information regarding the same.
