We might finally have the unveiling day for the LG G4 smartphone. LG earlier today sent out invites to the tech press in various countries for an announcement on April 28. The company is expected to introduce the G4 smartphone on the day.
Like last year, LG is hosting the press events in multiple cities like New York, London, Paris, Seoul, Singapore and Istanbul. Some of the cities like Seoul and Singapore will have the event on April 29, given the time-zones.
The company has not revealed any details in the invite, but thanks to a recent sighting in GFXBench database, we know LG G4 will sport a 5.5-inch Quad-HD display, Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone will run on Android 5.1 and feature 16MP rear camera, 8MP front shooter, NFC and the usual set of connectivity options. There is no word on the battery capacity or the presence of microSD card slot.
