Like its competitor Xiaomi, Lenovo isn’t leaving any stone unturned to bring the smartphone prices down. While Xiaomi is sticking with decent specifications, which can produce a capable smartphone, Lenovo has gone to the bare minimum with its latest phone – A1900.
Introduced in the Chinese market recently, the Lenovo A1900 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and sports a 4-inch WVGA 800x480p display. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7730 processor and packs 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage.
In terms of the connectivity options, the usual features like 3G support, dual-SIM card slots, Wi-F and Bluetooth are present in the smartphone. On the imaging front, however, there is no front shooter and the company has just included a 2MP rear snapper, that too with an LED flash.
Other specifications of the phone include 1500 mAh battery, GPS, and microSD card slot.
There is no word on the release outside China at this point, but we expect to see the phone in select Asian markets over the coming weeks.
