Videocon launches Z51 Nova smartphone at INR 5,400

Videocon Z51 NovaVideocon on Tuesday introduced a new budget Android smartphone in the country. Dubbed as Videocon Infinium Z51 Nova, the phone has been priced at INR 5,400 and is now available at mobile retailers and online stores.

“As a consumer-centric brand, we aim to satisfy the emerging needs of consumers and in line up to the same, we have launched Z51 Nova, which offers stunning design, utmost reliability and a smooth, faster and best-in-class smartphone experience to the consumers,” said Jerold Pereira, CEO, Videocon Mobile Phones.

The Videocon Z51 Nova features a 5-inch FWVGA (854x480p) IPS display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor (most likely Qualcomm Snapdragon 200). The phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and packs 2000 mAh battery, 5MP primary camera, 2MP front shooter and dual-SIM support.

In addition, the company has included 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 3G, and the usual set of connectivity option in the Z51 Nova.

The smartphone is being offered in Blue and Grey colour options.
