Chinese smartphone maker Gionee has finally revealed that it will launch the much-talked about M7 smartphone on September 25. The phone will be unveiled at an event in Beijing.
Set to be the company’s flagship smartphone, the phone will feature an edge-to-edge display, as is being teased in the invite. Another teaser from the company has previously revealed that M7 will sport a dual camera set-up on the rear of the phone.
Other specifications of the phone haven’t been officially announced or teased, but rumours indicate we can expect to see a screen size of 6-inches with full HD resolution. Additionally, the phone will be powered by MediaTek’s Helio P30 processor and include 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and Android Nougat. There will also be the usual set of connectivity options like dual-SIM, 4G, Wi-Fi and more in the Gionee M7.
The pricing is a complete mystery at this point, but that should be revealed on September 25.
In related news, Gionee may introduce the M7 Power smartphone alongside the M7, but if the phone is not introduced that day, Gionee is holding a press event specifically for M7 Power on the 28th of September in Thailand. M7 Power will most likely pack a massive battery.
