Did Asus lie about tablets at CES?

Yes, it seems like that in the first look. According to a report in The Inquirer, Asus will not be shipping its three Android tablets with Honeycomb; rather they will be running on Android 2.3. Samsung Google TV

Samsung showcased Google TV products at CES

Well, we certainly missed this one. Samsung silently showcased its Google TV offerings including a companion box and Blu-Ray player at the recently concluded Consumer Electronics Show. These products are scheduled to be available in the market in the first half of the year.

Samsung is still due to make an official price announcement in this regard, and we expect that to happen around the next big Google TV update, which will be coming alongside Honeycomb release.
