Asus CEO teases Memo Pad FHD 10 LTE tablet with Snapdragon CPU & full HD display

Looks like Asus isn’t done with Computex just yet. Company CEO Jerry Shen today took the stage at Qualcomm keynote to reveal an upcoming tablet with Snapdragon processor and LTE connectivity.Asus CEO Jerry Shen at Computex

There is no word on which Snapdragon processor the company is planning to use in the tablet, but we would put our money on Snapdragon 800.

Jerry Shen also noted that the tablet will be coming in Q3 of this year and will pack full HD display. Qualcomm, Intel showcase new chip for smartphones and tablets

Qualcomm and Intel have both showcased new processors for smartphones and tablets at the ongoing Computex trade fair in Taiwan.  While Qualcomm Technologies has expanded its Snapdragon 400 processor with the addition of a new processor with quad-core CPU and integrated LTE modem, Intel showcased its Bay Trail-T 22nm quad-core Atom SoC for tablets and Merrifield SoC  for smartphones.

According to a press release issued by Qualcomm, new Snapdragon 400 processor (8926) will be available in late 2013, so we should start seeing the first device using it by end of 2013 and early 2014. Asus Transformer Pad Infinity

Asus announces Transformer Pad Infinity with 2560x1600p display

Asus has taken the wraps off its flagship Transformer Pad Infinity tablet at Computex 2013 today. Packing Tegra 4 processor at core, it is one of the first device to debut with this NVIDIA  SoC in the world. Asus Transformer Pad Infinity runs on Android 4.2 and features 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory and Wi-Fi connectivity. Like most of other Asus tablet, Pad Infinity also comes with a detachable keyboard dock, which you can see in the image above.

According to Acer, the Liquid S1 will be coming to a bunch of European countries including France, Belgium, Netherlands, Ukraine, Russia, UK and Germany in Q3, 2013 for 349 euros.

Reuters adds:

Samsung has chosen Intel’s Clover Trail+ mobile chip for at least one version of its Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, which competes with Apple Inc’s iPad, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters on Thursday, speaking on condition of anonymity because the specifications have not been announced.
