One of the reasons Sony, LG, HTC etc. aren’t being able to compete with Samsung is their lack of screen real estate. At almost every price point, the SS screens are larger and often more vibrant (read: AMOLED) than their rivals – Bravia or not :-(

Sony would have done themselves no harm whatsoever by providing a 4.7 inch screen with the same 720p resolution. Would have only cost ‘em a few bucks more, but it would have been a huge tactical advantage over Samsung and HTC ;-)

With ever increasing screen sizes where this year’s flagships are coming out with 5.2″ screens, 4.3″ for a high mid range phone (Snapdragon 800 for crying out loud!!!) seems so 2012 :-(
